Welcome to the garden
How this place works, and what the maturity labels mean.
This is a digital garden: notes are linked to each other, not stacked in date order, and they are allowed to be unfinished.
Every note carries a maturity label:
- seedling: a rough thought, probably wrong in places
- budding: taking shape
- evergreen: settled, revisited when needed
Footnotes become sidenotes, so asides sit in the margin beside the text instead of at the bottom of the page.
Notes link to each other with double brackets, like About this garden. Each page lists the notes that link back to it at the bottom.
